Does Your Email Stand Out from the Crowd? E-mail marketing and E-newsletter marketing is the most targeted form of advertising on the planet. Are you targeting your market and using E-mail
and E-newsletters to create profits? If not, you can start
today. It's not hard at all. From Ten years ago, if someone had told me that in
the year 2004, I would be able to use a low-cost marketing technique
that would yield an immediate 5%, 10% and even a 30% response rate, I
would not have believed it. But it’s true. How to Begin If you haven’t already, begin asking your customers for their e-mail address and PERMISSION to send them "Advance Notice" of new products and "Monthly Specials." When you talk to new prospects, ask permission to put their name and e-mail address in your personal database so you can notify them immediately when you have special offers. The Good News When e-mail marketing is used the right way, the benefits are astonishing. 1.) QUICK to send THOUSANDS of e-mails. As opposed to direct-mail marketing, you can send thousands of e-mails in minutes. 2.) INSTANT results. Minutes after sending your marketing e-mails, you can start seeing responses and getting orders. 3.) HIGH RESPONSE RATES. If your e-mail message is well written and sent to the right people at the right time, it is not unusual to see 5%, 10% and even 30% response rates. 4.) LOW COST. No printing or supplies cost, no postage, no time spent folding, stuffing, sealing and stamping direct- mail letters. FACT: Jupiter Communications reports that e-mail marketing will become a $7.3 BILLION business by 2005. FACT: E-mail volume has already eclipsed postal mail. There are basically two types of e-mail marketing: 1.) Unsolicited bulk e-mail, and 2.) Opt-in (permission) direct e-mail WARNING Unsolicited bulk e-mail can get you into a LOT of trouble. What kind of trouble?
One Secret to Know Before You Start If your FIRST paragraph does not immediately convey a benefit to the recipient of your e-mail, your message will be deleted.
